School-Age
In our safe environment, school-aged children have opportunities for fun, socializing and learning. After school, children have the opportunities for snack, arts and crafts, free choice play and homework.
Our convenient hours and transportation to and from school make it easy for children and parents to get into a routine. We drive or walk children to/from the following schools:
From Burton Road (*)
- King Elementary
- Ogden Elementary
- Walnut Grove Elementary
- Roosevelt Elementary
From Salmon Creek (*)
- Chinook Elementary
- Pleasant Valley Elementary

- Sarah J Anderson Elementary

From Battle Ground (*)
- Captain Strong Primary
- Daybreak Primary

- Pleasant Valley Primary
- Tukes Valley Primary
(*) Schools served will depend on adequate enrollment. Please contact us to confirm that we transport to your child’s school.
Summer Activities
During school breaks, we keep children interested and entertained with dozens of projects and activities. We make summer break even more fun with exciting themes, activities and field trips.
Inclement Weather
For the safety of our families and staff, our centers follow their local school district’s decisions on closures and delayed starts for inclement weather. Please check local news sources or school district websites for closure and delayed start information. If the school district has a 2-hour delayed start, Children’s Village will open at 10:00 am and will not provide morning transportation for school-aged children. If winter weather becomes severe during the day, making it unsafe for our buses to be on the roads, we will cancel afternoon transportation services and parents will need to pick up their children at school.
