Children’s Village | Our Story

Enrolling All Ages Now!

Rooted in family, growing with community.

What began as one family’s dream in 1989 has grown into a trusted village of care and learning.

Children’s Village has been part of the Clark County community since 1989, providing high-quality early learning, childcare, and before- and after-school care for families. What began as the dream of a local husband-and-wife team has grown into a trusted, family-owned organization now led by their son and daughter.

From the beginning, our vision has been simple: to create a safe, nurturing place where children can grow, learn, and feel a true sense of belonging. For more than three decades, that mission has guided every classroom, every teacher, and every family partnership at Children’s Village.

Our Growth Through the Years

  • 1989 – The first center opened on Burton Road, where our “village” began.
  • 2002 – Expansion continued with the opening of the Salmon Creek location, welcoming even more families into the community.
  • 2021 – A dedicated School Age Center was added, creating a safe, engaging space designed just for older learners.
  • 2025 – The newest center opened in Battle Ground, continuing a tradition of quality care and a family-first philosophy.

Though we’ve grown, one thing has never changed: Children’s Village remains a family-owned and community-focused program, dedicated to building strong foundations for children from birth through age 12.
